Melissa Stones-Smith

Melissa was born and raised in Montana, around the Bozeman area. After high school, Melissa moved to Colorado where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in psychology. While obtaining her degrees, Melissa worked as a paralegal, mostly assisting on family law matters.

Missing the country life, Melissa returned to Montana to obtain her JD from the University of Montana. Since obtaining her JD, Melissa has continued to compassionately assist family’s during the stressful navigations of divorce, obtaining parenting plans, and other family law issues.

When not at work, Melissa enjoys watching movies, reading books, and spending time with her husband and her zoo which consists of three dogs, a cat, a snake, and a spider.
