Karla Brown was raised in Prosser and Grandview, Washington. She graduated from Grandview High School in 2004 and continued her education at Columbia Basin College and Central Washington University. At Central she graduated with a BA in Law and Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Paralegal Studies and a minor in Sociology. She was honored as a Dean’s Scholar in the College of the Sciences in 2008. Karla has ten years’ experience in the legal field in a variety of areas including personal injury, insurance defense, medical mal practice, real estate, estate planning, probate and business law.
Karla has always enjoyed volunteering and donating her time to her community. She learned the importance of this from her father who was a United Way volunteer and active in the Grandview Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. She has volunteered her time for community events, in schools and hospitals and hopes to continue to follow in his footsteps.
Karla enjoys getting outdoors with her husband and they partake in a variety of activities including skiing, kayaking/paddle boarding, hiking, boating and camping. She is also an avid runner and enjoys attending Orange Theory Fitness and yoga classes. Karla and her husband reside in Kennewick with their two rambunctious Australian Cattle Dogs.
