Cortney Corbet was born in California and raised all over the West Coast. She attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage where she received a degree in International Relations, Cum Laude. She moved to Boston Massachusetts in 2014 where she received a Juris Doctor from New England Law. While in Boston, Cortney gained valuable experience working for several civil litigation firms and non-profits expanding her knowledge in many areas of law. After law school, Cortney accepted a Law Clerk position in the Northern Mariana Islands where she gained invaluable courtroom experience in both state and federal courts.

Cortney is an avid traveler, having visited twenty-nine countries on four continents. She is able to provide a unique understanding to cultural differences.

Cortney’s primary practice focuses on family law, including dissolutions, prenuptial agreements, property settlements, child custody, paternity, adoptions, and child support with additional experience and expertise in the areas of estate planning, and criminal law. Cortney practices law with a vigor and enthusiasm for both the problem and the fight.

Cortney is dedicated to providing compassionate results-orientated representation in family law matters. She will advise you on every potential outcome while walking you through the benefits and risks of possible solutions in order to find and pursue the solution that works best for you. Whether you are facing divorce or welcoming a new child, a little preparation goes a long way when you are facing a major life change in your family. Our approach to family law focuses on making certain you and your family are taken care of.

Cortney is licensed to practice law in Washington State as well as the Eastern District of Washington. She likes to read and travel during her spare time.
