Justine Benson
Intern
Background
Justine Benson is a Summer Associate at Gravis Law’s University Place office and a rising 2L at Seattle University School of Law. Originally from Skagit Valley, Washington, Justine was inspired to enter the legal field by her family’s background in criminal justice and a passion for helping others navigate life’s challenges with clarity and compassion.
Justine is exploring multiple practice areas during her summer with Gravis Law to find where she can make the most meaningful impact—though her long-term focus remains on keeping people out of conflict and providing supportive, client-centered guidance. She brings a deep commitment to making others feel seen, heard, and validated in both personal and professional settings.
Her academic excellence was recognized with a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in her 1L Contracts class, awarded for earning the highest grade in the course. She holds an associate degree from Bellevue College and a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a Legal Studies emphasis from Grand Canyon University.
Outside of work, Justine enjoys documentaries, hiking, volleyball, and exploring new places. She also serves as the Community Outreach Director for the Business and Entrepreneurship Law Association and the Alumni Chair for the International Law Society at Seattle University.
