Background

Abby Nagaich is a 2025 Summer Intern with Gravis Law. Originally from Lakewood, Washington, Abby brings a strong academic and editorial background to her legal training. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and is currently pursuing her J.D. at Seattle University School of Law, where she serves as the Research & Technical Editor for the Law Review.

Abby was drawn to the legal field because of her love for reading, interpreting the law, and helping others navigate systems that can feel overwhelming. She takes a client-centered approach to legal counseling—one that is grounded in empathy and a genuine desire to understand and support each client’s unique needs.

With previous experience as a Head Paralegal, Abby takes pride in mentoring others and providing clear guidance through complex legal processes. She thrives on the intellectual challenges of the legal field and is passionate about creating structure and support for those who need it most.

She believes the key to success lies in listening and careful analysis—skills that not only strengthen legal arguments but also help build trust with clients and colleagues alike.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys a wide variety of active and creative hobbies, including water sports, yoga, ultimate frisbee, and reading. Her well-rounded interests contribute to the thoughtful and energetic perspective she brings to her work.
