Luke Nickodemus
Attorney
Background
Luke Nickodemus is a business-savvy litigation attorney based in Gravis Law’s Boise office. Luke brings a rare blend of courtroom confidence and real-world commercial insight to every case. Whether he’s advocating for entrepreneurs in high-stakes disputes or guiding companies through complex compliance challenges, Luke is known for being assertive, thoughtful, and solution-oriented.
Luke’s legal journey was inspired by business mentors who were also attorneys—professionals whose legal training sharpened their leadership and strategic edge. With that in mind, Luke pursued both his J.D. and Executive MBA from the University of Idaho, where he also earned a bachelor’s in marketing with a PGA Golf Management emphasis. He now combines that academic foundation with years of experience in business education and advocacy, helping clients protect what they’ve built and pursue growth with confidence.
In the courtroom, Luke handles a wide range of litigation matters—from bodily injury and business disputes to intellectual property and data privacy issues. His deep understanding of both legal frameworks and business operations makes him a powerful ally for clients.
Outside of litigation, Luke advises companies on everything from mergers and acquisitions to privacy compliance, real estate transactions, and trademark protection. He’s especially passionate about helping entrepreneurs get their business started to find innovative ways to solve problems and create lasting value for their communities.
Luke grew up in Payette, Idaho, and attended high school in Southern Oregon. When he’s not in the office or the courtroom, you’ll find him golfing, skiing, hiking, cooking, wine tasting, or cycling. A former business professor, he’s proud of having helped dozens of University of Idaho students become certified PGA Professionals—a testament to his commitment to mentorship and impact.
