Sam Hansen

Samantha “Sam” Hansen is a Paralegal in our Richland office who supports Family Law clients with organization, empathy, and clear communication. She is known for a calm, practical approach that helps people feel heard and supported from the first intake to final orders. Sam listens closely, anticipates needs, and keeps information flowing so attorneys and clients can focus on the next right step.

Raised in Lynden, Washington, Sam chose the legal field after early law electives sparked a lasting interest in how the system can guide people through major life changes. She believes that during stressful transitions, feeling informed and respected restores a sense of control. Clients appreciate her responsiveness, attention to detail, and steady follow through.

Sam’s key to success is simple: never stop learning. In a prior role, she built a department wide tracking system that reorganized workload and improved efficiency by 75 percent. Whether coordinating filings, preparing disclosures, or guiding clients through court requirements, she prioritizes clarity, reliability, and teamwork.

Sam holds a BA in Law and Justice and a BA in Psychology from Central Washington University, and a BS in Data Analytics from Western Governors University. She is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, holds CompTIA Data plus, and completed the Udacity Data Analyst Nanodegree. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, baking, snowboarding, golfing, and time with her husband and two sons. She is proud to serve the Richland community through her work at Gravis Law.
