Jacob DeWilde

Raised in Salem, Oregon, Jacob DeWilde is an estate planning attorney who is driven by a desire to work directly with individuals and families to help them avoid legal disputes and find clarity during important life decisions. He focuses his practice primarily on estate planning, with additional experience in family law, and takes a thoughtful, client-centered approach that begins with understanding each client’s goals, concerns, and expectations. Jacob believes that clear communication and careful planning can ease uncertainty and give clients greater confidence about their future.

Jacob is particularly proud of successfully achieving a stay of deportation for a client, an accomplishment that reflects his commitment to advocacy and meaningful impact beyond the immediate legal matter at hand. He approaches every case with the same level of care and diligence, whether he is helping a family prepare foundational estate documents or guiding a client through a complex and sensitive legal challenge.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Gonzaga University, where he developed a strong interest in understanding human behavior and decision-making, skills he now applies in his legal practice. Jacob went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon and has been licensed to practice law in Oregon since 2022. He is also an active member of the Multnomah County Bar Association, where he stays engaged with the legal community and ongoing professional development.

Outside of the office, Jacob enjoys spending time at the park with his fiancée and their dog, attending movies and live theater, and keeping up with all things sports. He values balance in his professional and personal life and brings that same steady, approachable presence to the clients he serves.
