About Renee Honeycutt

Rene Honeycutt is a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional in our Colorado Springs office who supports Family Law clients with warmth, organization, and clear communication. She is known for a calm, practical approach that helps people feel supported from the first call to the final orders. Rene listens closely, anticipates needs, and keeps information flowing so attorneys and clients can focus on the next right step.
Raised in Monte Vista in Colorado’s San Luis Valley, Rene chose the legal field after shadowing a Deputy District Attorney in high school. She believes every client deserves empathy and plain language guidance during difficult transitions. Her passion is making a positive difference when families are in crisis and helping them set themselves up for success post decree.
Rene’s key to success is simple: always seek knowledge, stay humble, and ask good questions. Whether coordinating filings, preparing disclosures, tracking deadlines, or guiding clients through court requirements, she prioritizes clarity, reliability, and steady follow through.
Rene is part of Colorado’s inaugural class of Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals and was sworn in by the Colorado Supreme Court in 2024. She is active with the Colorado Bar Association Family Law and LLP Sections, the El Paso County Bar Association, and RMPA. Outside the office, she enjoys reality TV, true crime, reading, hiking, walking her dogs, and time with her grandchildren. She is proud to serve the Colorado Springs community through her work at Gravis Law.
