Blake Robertson

Of Counsel

Billings, MT

Background

Blake Robertson is Of Counsel at Gravis Law, where he focuses his practice on bankruptcy and real estate matters. With a calm and analytical approach, Blake helps clients navigate some of the most stressful and overwhelming legal situations with clarity and compassion. His clients value his ability to break down complex legal issues, listen without judgment, and guide them toward lasting solutions that restore peace of mind.

Blake’s interest in the law began as a curiosity—he found legal study both intellectually rewarding and practically useful. After reaching a ceiling in roles that required deeper expertise, he pursued law school and quickly discovered a strong alignment with the structure and logic of bankruptcy law. Today, he appreciates the deliberate nature of the practice, where fairness and consistency often take priority over emotion or rhetoric, allowing him to deliver results clients can depend on.

Blake holds a B.A. in Political Science and Statistics from Montana State University and earned his J.D., cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Washington and Montana, including multiple federal district and bankruptcy courts.

Beyond the courtroom, Blake is known for his thoughtful communication style and his ability to connect clients with additional professionals and resources when their needs extend beyond legal advice. He believes that building trust and offering steady support are just as important as strong advocacy.

Originally from Montana, Blake enjoys staying active through hiking and weightlifting, and he spends his free time with his 3-year-old German Shepherd, Roman, and his 4-year-old orange cat, Mufasa—better known as Moo.
