Martin Ray Kilmer

Raised in Colorado, Martin Kilmer is the accomplished Chief Operating Officer for Gravis Law who is passionate about legal technology and the development of tools and systems that help lawyers become better practitioners. Martin no longer directly takes on clients and instead concentrates on managing the business side of the law firm while continuing to fuel his keen interest in cutting-edge legal tools.

Martin’s proudest professional achievement is his leadership in the multi-year redesign of the lexis.com research platform. Through this transformative effort, he successfully delivered a global platform that significantly improved the legal community’s access to information and, in turn, better served the clients of the firms they represent. 

What Martin values most about the legal industry is its essential role in upholding the rule of law and safeguarding the rights and privileges of society. He also finds immense satisfaction in aiding others to conquer challenges and find solutions.

When Martin is away from the office, he enjoys horseback riding, golfing, hunting, fishing, participating in outdoor projects, and attending community events. Martin sits on the Board of Faith House Elk Grove and, with his wife, sponsors a number of children through international wellness organizations. He is also certified in Pragmatic Marketing (Product Management).
