Gravis Law is excited to announce the addition of attorney Stefanie Valencia to assist with the firm’s expansion in the Tri-Cites. Brett Spooner, managing partner at Gravis said, “Our growth this year has been wonderful and in order to keep up our high level of service and to best serve our clients’ needs, we felt Stefanie was the perfect addition to our team.” Stephanie has legal experience working in the public interest sector and understands that navigating the legal process can be an emotionally taxing time in a person’s life. She says that, “her goal is to help attend to her clients’ legal needs by showing compassion and providing guidance to help alleviate the stress the legal process can often invoke.” She is also fluent in Spanish and English.
Stefanie earned her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law where she worked in the Immigration Clinic and was a member of the Latino Law Student Association. In 2014, Stefanie interned with the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project and interned with private firms in 2015 and 2016.
Before attending law school, Stefanie was born and raised in Pasco, Washington and graduated from Pasco High School in 2008. With the support and guidance of her immigrant parents, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington in 2012. After receiving her degree, she was hired by a local law firm as a legal assistant working solely on cases related to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Stefanie is currently living in Pasco, Washington with her husband and son. She enjoys spending time with her young family and dancing.
