Background
Matt began practicing law in Dayton, Washington, and soon thereafter became a partner with Gravis Law and worked to grow it into what it is today. His practice has spanned numerous practice areas including real property, agricultural law, estate planning, probate and estate administration, business law, civil litigation, personal injury & wrongful death, civil appeals, criminal defense, criminal prosecution, municipal law, and family law. In recent years, his primary practice focuses are estate planning and probate, real property, litigation, business law, personal injury & wrongful death.
He is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice, a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Walla Walla Valley Estate Planning Council, and a member of the Best of the Bar. One of his proudest professional accomplishments has been helping build Gravis Law into what it is today.
Matt is also invested in his community. Currently, he serves as President of the Columbia County Fair Board, a volunteer board member of the Blue Mountain Grief and Loss Foundation, a member of the Waitsburg Masonic Lodge, and coaches little league. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, motorcycle riding, fishing, golfing, hunting, and other outdoor activities.
