Background
Raised in Benton City, Dalton Cannon is a driven Associate Attorney who strives to help good people get back on their feet and remove barriers to success for individuals and businesses. As one of the first employees of Gravis Law, Dalton has grown with the firm, having served as an intern, legal assistant, paralegal, law clerk, and now attorney.
Dalton focuses his practice on bankruptcy and business general counsel matters, helping clients navigate financial challenges, protect their assets, and move toward a more stable future. His experience in bankruptcy courts across Washington allows him to guide clients through complex processes with clarity and confidence.
Dalton’s proudest professional achievement is the reputation for quality work he has built with the Washington Bankruptcy Court. He values the opportunity to take complex legal concepts and break them down into manageable steps, helping clients understand their options and work through challenges one step at a time. He is known for his ability to assess and triage issues quickly to deliver practical, effective solutions.
He is admitted to practice in the Eastern District of Washington Bankruptcy Court and the Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington.
Outside of his practice, Dalton enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and son, as well as running games of Dungeons and Dragons. He is a fan of Lord of the Rings and story-driven video games, and collects unique playing cards from his travels, including a memorable experience in Santiago de Chile, where he became conversationally fluent in Spanish. He continues to use Spanish regularly in his practice to better serve Spanish-speaking clients.
