Gravis Commercial Transactions team presents to the AFHC of WA and has nearly 100 attendees.
Gravis Law Commercial Transactions team presented at the Adult Family Home Council of Washington and welcomed close to 100 attendees at each of the three webinars.
Speaking about business entity selection and other ownership strategies in adult family homes, the Gravis CT team was able to connect with attendees whom found this topic greatly beneficial. Entity planning, a critical procedure in adult family homes, is something that AFH’s want to look at for tax purposes and benefits under IRS rulings when they meet certain requirements. Helping the webinar-goers to understand the requirements around these rulings as well as plan their business to take advantage of tax breaks, while protecting their assets and planning their estate for their children, were also hot topics of the day.
The Gravis Law CT Team will also facilitate talks like these with other partners across the Tri-Cities community, like Columbia Basin College. In the past, they have done presentations in “Introduction to Business” classes as well as “Introduction to Entrepreneurship”.
