Stacy Leighton was born in Colorado and moved to a farm in Pasco, Washington at the age of 9. She began running competitively and competed both nationwide and in other countries. Stacy graduated from Pasco High School in 1990 and went on to Columbia Basin College and Eastern Washington University. While attending college Stacy continued running and participated in Track, Cross Country, Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) and the Ranger Team.
After returning to the Tri-Cities she began working on the Hanford Site as an Administrative Assistant for Westinghouse. She has remained in this field for more than 20 years working for various contractors and companies.
Stacy enjoys time with her husband and children. They spend as much of their time as possible outdoors shooting their bows, camping, fishing, and hunting.
