Claire Cox was born in Pasadena, California and moved to Woodinville, Washington when she was 15, where she rode and competed in Dressage (English horseback riding).
Ms. Cox graduated from Woodinville High school in 2009 and went on to several institutions before landing at Central Washington University and calling Ellensburg home for the past 9 years. She graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising in 2014 and then accepted a graduate assistantship in Corporate Partnerships and Marketing in the CWU Athletic department for two additional years, all while completing her Masters of Science Athletic Administration and Sports Business in 2016.
Ms. Cox remained at CWU as professional staff for three years, working as the Communications Manager for University Advancement as well as a Marketing & Health Programming Coordinator for University Recreation.
Ms. Cox enjoys time with her fiancé, Andrew, and their dog, Ivy. She spends most of her time working out with her Orangetheory crew, exploring the great outdoors, spending quality time with family and friends, and visiting Disneyland whenever possible!
