Catlyn (“Cat”) Hartz grew up in a military family, splitting her childhood between Germany and El Paso, Texas. After graduating from high school, she followed the family tradition of military service, but quickly realized it was not a career path that suited her goals. Cat started her first job in a law office in 1989, after which she held a variety of positions supporting attorneys in diverse areas of practice. It was not until she had already been a family law paralegal for several years that she completed her degree in paralegal studies. Cat is now a Senior Paralegal who has worked exclusively in family law since 2003. She is committed to providing professional, accessible and compassionate support for attorneys and clients.
Before moving to her adopted home state of Washington in 2012, Cat lived and worked in San Diego, California for many years. She is the proud mother of an Army veteran and the devoted grandmother of one sparkly princess. When she’s not in the office, you can find her enjoying time with her family, running, reading, hiking or wrangling her cat, Evergreen.
