Gravis Law is honored to have Attorney Charles Bauer join the Gravis Team in Boise, Idaho. Charles is a native of Moscow, Idaho, is a 1979 graduate of the University of Idaho College of Law. A former chair of the Idaho State Bar Family Law Section, he has written and lectured extensively on family law, child custody, community property, and interstate child custody for the Idaho State Bar and other professional organizations over his nearly 40 years of active family law practice. He has received an “AV” rating from the Martindale-Hubbell/LexisNexis Legal Directory, the highest rating an attorney can receive. In 2018, he was named Distinguished Family Law Attorney by the Family Law Section of the Idaho State Bar.
A long-time supporter of the performing arts in Idaho, he is a former Chair of the Opera Idaho Board of Directors, a member of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, and strong supporter of local performing arts including the Meridian Symphony Orchestra. He has established the Juli Holland Bauer Vocal Scholarship at Boise State University’s School of Music in honor of internationally-noted soprano and Boise native, Juli Holland Bauer (1953-2008).
