Gravis Law has hired an experienced Yakima family law attorney, Teresita Varela, to better serve their clients. “We are thrilled to have a family law attorney that is truly driven and caring for clients join our team”, said Asa LaMusga, a partner at Gravis.
Teresita was born in New York, New York and raised in Central Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hodges University in Naples, Florida and her Juris Doctorate degree from the Gonzaga University School of Law.
Teresita has provided a wide range of legal services to her clients since 2012, including federal tax assistance, criminal defense, estate planning, and family law. Her experience includes providing Indian law expertise and tribal jurisdiction analysis for federal clients including the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
As the newest Yakima Family Law Attorney, Teresita will begin building a team to meet the needs of the Yakima community.
Teresita began her legal career as a legal researcher for Kauffman & Associates, Inc. in Spokane, Washington. Thereafter, she opened her own law practice dedicated to family law and criminal defense prior to becoming a Kennewick Attorney.
